Chowdhary group is one of the oldest business houses of Jamshedpur. It all started when the entrepreneur Shri Bansi Dhar Chowdhary saw the vision of creating a business empire in steel city. Thus in early 1940s the journey began when the group opened its first store B.D Chowdhary & Sons in the main city market. The outlet started dealing with cotton mattresses, pillows, bed sheets, curtains, etc. The continuous effort by our team made it the best furnishing store of steel city.

In 1967, the group came up with another store in Sakchi Market named as R.K Foam Chowdhary and Company. Today, Chowdhary and Company is considered as the most popular store for mattresses and foams in the city of Jamshedpur. Chowdhary and Company adds tremendous value to its customers by catering to their furnishing needs in the form of mattresses, foams, pillows, sofa covers, carpets, curtains, etc.

In the year 2007, the group came up with its third and the largest store named as IN HOUSE – Your Home Status. It is indeed the largest multi-storeyed furniture and furnishing showroom in the city. With the opening up of IN HOUSE – Your Home Status the group started dealing with furniture and wooden products. As the tagline speaks IN HOUSE – Your Home Status is a showroom that provides one stop solution for furniture and furnishing needs.

The group is a strong real estate player and having projects going on across the city. The first hyper market/departmental store in the city of Jamshedpur was opened by Chowdhary Group when the group leased out its property to Vishal Mega Mart. The real estate investment of Chowdhary Group is quite impressive in the steel city. Real Estate construction and development is a new business of Chowdhary Group and the young bloods of the group are all determined to take it to the greater heights.

Multi Service Inc, a firm which the group founded to deal with B2B segment. Thus, the corporate orders from the companies like Tata Steel, Jusco, Tata Power, Tinplate India Pvt. Ltd, Tata Motors, government sector, etc are dealt by Multi Service Inc.
